- Tipo de rocha ígnea vulcânica, negra e de textura vesicular, composta por fragmentos do derrame de lava (clastos) que arrefecem rapidamente, dando origem a uma camada mais ou menos compacta, unida por fluidos mais leves que constituem o ligante.
