- Highland Puebla Nahuatl is one of the indigenous Nahuatl language variants, spoken by ethnic Nahua people in northwestern Puebla state in Mexico. Also known as: Náhuat de la Sierra de Puebla, Sierra Puebla Náhuatl, Sierra Aztec, Zacapoaxtla Náhuat, and Mejicano de Zacapoaxtla. The language is characterized by being nontonal, having affixes and having long words.
