- The Kacipo-Balesi language (also Silmamo, Tsilmamo, Zelmamu, Zilmamu, Zulmamu) is an Eastern Sudanic language spoken by the Baale and Zilmamu people of Ethiopia and the Kacipo of South Sudan. It is a member of the Surmic cluster. There are three main dialects: Balesi (Baale), Kacipo, and Zilmamu.
